Are you looking for
something new, awesome, and different for your student ministry? We
invite you and your students to what we believe will be the spiritual
highlight of your summer. LIFECamps is located in beautiful Winter
Haven, Florida, on 24 acres of lakefront property. LIFECamps'
location is ideal for those who want to head to the beaches or attend one
of the many theme parks before or after camp.
LIFECamps will challenge your students to live life on
purpose. LIFECamps is a place where students will be loved
and encouraged. Our greatest hope is that each student may find Jesus and
serve Him with passion. Our goal will be to emphasize the greatest message
of all, Jesus, and a Christ-like lifestyle. The Rock Revival Band, a
tremendous Christian music group, will have you jumping, clapping,
kneeling, and praying during worship gatherings.
Rock Solid Worship Team
The Rock Revival Band will flat out bring it! Mike Jarrett, 24 year youth veteran and founding Pastor of The Rock, will inspire your students through God's Word to LIVE! out loud for the Lord! We will discover what being ALIVE IN CHRIST means in today's student culture. Students are organized into 'LIFE-groups'
and meet each morning. They are also supplied with personal
devotional material each morning. And don't forget the morning
rally.
Evening Snacks
Every night before we head back to
our rooms, we have snack time. We serve pizza, shrimp, and shaved
ice. On the last night, we include some Alaskan King Crab legs and gator
tail. Of course, there is cold watermelon and cantaloupe galore.
Special Events
Monday night is
recreation organization and fellowship night. There are three cool
theme nights: Retro Nite(Dress up in your favorite decade and sing
karaoke), Pirate Nite, and Hawaiian Nite.
Menu
Breakfast: pancakes, biscuits and
gravy, eggs, cheese grits, cereal, fruit, and more.
Lunch: fresh grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian
sausages with onions and peppers, French fries, salad, fruit, and other
cool things.
Dinner: steak, BBQ chicken and pork, crab legs, shrimp, pizza and more youth friendly food.
Lodging
Your group will be staying at the
Howard Johnson Hotel just south of Haines City, Florida on US 27 south.
The hotel is just five miles from The ROCK. The rooms are spacious
and equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. All rooms are air
conditioned and sleep four to a room, five some instances. The vast
majority of your time at LIFECamps is spent at The ROCK. All meals
are served at camp.
Registration
Registration is first-come,
first-served basis. We try to be as flexible as possible. There are no late fees and cancellations are transferable. Get
this! The coordinator of each group is comped, and for every 20 students, LIFECamps
will comp an additional adult leader! The cost covers four nights lodging,
eleven meals (Monday dinner through Friday breakfast), as well as evening
snacks and a camp t-shirt.
Insurance
As part of registration, each student
and adult will be required to fill out a LIFECamps medical release
form. For insurance purposes, you must have an adult:student ratio of 1:7.
